Yeah a steel framed, leather strapped, none kinetic, Chinese assembled watch was never in a month of Sundays £200. But £65 is ok for a decent looking brand name watch. But I'd be more inclined to look for a Pulsar branded watch around this price. They are the budget offering of Seiko and you can probably find a kinetic movement around that price.

That's how things work nowadays. next time you see something in a supermarket double price. give it awhile and it will either be buy one get one free or half price. and everybody falls for it. always.

BOGOF and price falls are normally different, the supermarket doesn't pay for the offer its the manufacturer who pays for it. These sort of high prices are a big con, best example I saw was 50% off Christmas Crackers, in Debenhams in small print on the ticket it said, higher price sold in certain number of stores in June! Yes June that busy time for buying Crackers, bet in most cases they never made it to the shop floor.
