Anyone here had experience of Richer Sounds extended warranty? E.g. when there is a fault with the TV but no local store to go to? Do they arrange free collection etc?

I know someone who had a TV that developed screen problem after 5 years and was requested to take the TV instore for repair. After a bit of haggling they collected the redelivered the fixed TV. This happened twice on the same TV and a brand new replacement was provided with additional warranty. Cannot fault them at all.

Been looking for the right TV at the right price for a while and this seems great value. Too soon to go 4k for me, maybe when it's more widely available in a year or two. Somehow feel more comfortable with JL 5 year guarantee than Richersounds 6 year. Ordered for delivery before Christmas. Hot from me.

Great price but it has been suggested that film playback via bluray at full hd won't be very good on this set due to some judder when using the 24p mode (in general such judder is noticed by some people but not others).
My panny plasma has bitten the dust so I have been use to good full hd playback.
Anyone got one of these Samsung sets that they use for bluray playbck?

I've got the 5600 which is only slightly different... no complaints from me regarding Blu-ray playback! Very happy with my set, the only thing that's annoying is bloody Tizen.
It took months for all the apps to appear; luckily they have now however it's still very slow - you're best off turning the TV on and going to put the kettle on then coming back if you want to use the smart functions, otherwise you'll get a 'busy' message.

Very hard to find out what type of panel Samsung is using.
I prefer the way LG market it's TVs, clearly labeling them as IPS display and so on.

Thanks for the feedback; slow menu sounds a real pain...

Argos have this for 3p less but no 5y guarantee. Does anyone know if it can be returned to argos like many other items they offer to take back or are TVs excluded?
