Wow - so you could just buy this as a decent AC1200 wireless adapter!?! Reserved mine. Fingers crossed

Can anyone answer this question. My inbuilt wireless adaptor has ceased working on my Lenovo laptop. Could I just plug this into a usb port on the laptop and use it to connect to the internet instead?

My gut says yes!?! I see this as a rebranded edimax adapter and the Samsung CCTV will already have the Edimax drivers installed so it will work straight away. Just a case of working out which drivers(??) or hoping it'll install automatically.
It'll be like a Humax box I have in reverse - you could plug an £8 edimax wifi dongle into it and wifi enable it

replacing the wireless card in your laptop should be fairly straightforward and potentially as cheap. These are typically "plug in" cards, much the same idea as a stick of memory and can often be accessed through a panel in the back or by popping of the keyboard.
Alternatively any wifi usb adapter will do the same trick for not much money, although I can't vouch for the one posted here.

You're best off getting something a bit more discreet.
Just collected mine, plugged it into a PC and it worked instantly with no drivers needed. Haven't played around with it other than that but I'm very happy.

wouldn't stick out of your laptop enough to ever need to be removed and also 100% works for windows 7 up.
Edit: Price is direct from Amazon under "Other Sellers".
