Yes, but the sandisks have clearccut reliability issues, which are well documented not only on the thread for that deal, but on numerous forums online.
Bottom line, these samsung sd cards have a great reputation for reliability (although no card series has a 100% record).

Surprised at the price increase. I brought one of these last weekend off amazon for £14 (was on prime now)

Do Samsung micro-SD cards not fail?

Just because everything fails doe not mean you have to spend your money on rubbish.

What's rubbish about SanDisk?

Didn't say Sandisk are rubbish, just that I prefer and trust Samsung.
Just my preference not a judgement.

How clear cut are these issues then?
Are the high failure rate issue that you're referring to relating to the 64GB SanDisk Ultra MicroSDXC UHS-I 48MB/s cards, or the later 64GB SanDisk Ultra MicroSDXC UHS-I 80MB/s version which is listed under the same model name. How about every other size, version or variation in the past and since?
Just curious, but do you know if every single SanDisk card has been tested in real world environment vs every single Samsung equal and always failed first in every single test?
Samsung might have a good reputation now, but I remember it having problems in the past, particularly with microsd cards in mobiles and tablets just a few years back. So at some point between then and now it had to pick up the pace to get to the top right?
Well has anyone been personally monitoring every single SanDisk device between problematic batches to date to really identify if these problems your referring to exist across every single model or just on certain models or whether its just on the rear occasion or rear batch like many other companies including Samsung.
At least when i buy my Sandisk i know what to expect; you on the other hand will be in shock when your overly hyped and overly expensive Samsung packs up and you lose everything.

I have a Samsung 32g and had it for years no issues. during this time my wife's phone has chewed up 2 SanDisk 16gb cards and she is now on a Samsung 16g which has lasted longer than both the Samsung ones.
The proof is in the pudding I'm afraid.
Don't care what arguments ppl sing and dance about. SanDisk has failed me more times than I would like and I would buy Samsung over it any day.

That's hardly irrefutable consistent evidence that factually shows a side by side comparison of equally spec'd microsd cards categorically showing Samsung actually outlasting and out performing Sandisk in every category since Sandisk first invented MicroSD now is it?
You sure your wife didn't stick hers in back to front?
Surely theirs got to be some reason why SanDisk flash memory cards have held the number-one market share position worldwide for 13 straight years.
Anyway, if you're calling Sandisk bad you may as well start calling Western Digital bad as they own Sandisk now

Hilarious that you had to make a sexist reference particularly about my wife.
I'm not arguing with you. I was stating my opinion. I don't care what the "stats" say.
For me the proof is in actually being an end user and the results I have experienced are good enough for me.
I'm not forcing my opinions down anyone's throat with a know it all point of view.

Also, I wouldn't pay too much attention to reviews that big up Samsung products, especially as Samsung has a history of paying reviewers to spread negative reviews and stat's about its competitors products. They were even fined and prosecuted for it.
