Possibly the most fragile bed you can buy. Avoid

Have to disagree
Mainly metal base with centre supports
Strong enough for most people

Those central supports look like they'll collapse at the first sign of any sizzle. Would rather sleep on a mattress on the floor than invest in this.

I'll take a picture of the metal base on the one I've got, it's mangled.
First slats started snapping if you sit down too hard.
Then the centre support went (it's made of metal with all the tensile strength of plasticine), once gone the entire chassis bent out of shape.
With the chassis bent the slats that hadn't already snapped started to fall out of their holders (the holders are made of plastic with all the rigidity of a polythene bag).
Finally two of the four of the wooden feet came loose so the bed slants like a snooker table on Kilimanjaro.
And I don't even get that much action

Those slats can be a real pain! I ended up fitting 2x4 for the bed base.

Got this bed and have to agree with this. They are ridiculously hard to fit and instructions give little advise. The feet on this bed are very week also.

Ok if you want the whole house to know you are having some "love action" otherwise spend a bit more for a wooden frame
