make sure you don't let amazon do the conversion, also you need to add a USA address to your account and set it as billing, use Alaska as no sales tax
Easiest way to redeem, go to xbox.com at bottom of page change to USA, log into account, press your profile and goto redeem code

Do I need to stay signed into the usa region or can I redeem and switch to uk then continue download?
If games are region free why can't you redeem the code on your uk account? (Anyone tried this?)

Stay in the US region whilst its downloading. Having to redeem the code from the country it was purchased from has no bearing on the game being region free or not. Either way it will work on when you change your region back to UK. I use Revolut card

I got a physical disc of this from MediaMarkt for this price, like €39 so about 28 quid :stuck_out_tongue:
Oh and I also got Destiny The Taken King for $20 from Libro so about 14 n half quid :stuck_out_tongue:

Used mine on both Amazon uk and USA with no issues at all. The revolut card is a MasterCard so is accepted as normal.
Just bought Forza 6 so 9 codes still left. Much prefer digital releases :smiley:

not dishonest, I am american and now live in the uk. I asked on microsoft chat if I could use codes from america on my now migrated account and they said yes they have no issue as long as the game has been released in both regions. So if microsoft (who hate people getting anything for cheaper) say its ok, then it must be!
