Picked up in store at Platt Bridge Home Bargains near Wigan. This is great for the price, would make a good small gift for a teacher / difficult to buy for relatives etc.

I do wonder why people like you are on this forum? "It's cheap so it can't be any good"?!
You mean for people you don't really like? :smirk:

For those unaware, this is one of the oldest and well known Italian Panettone brands. The best of the best.
It's an incredible deal and if this shop existed near me I'd buy the whole stock.

Panettone make great bread & butter pudding, too. Really light and soufflé-like. Have some heat!

Father-in-law just brought one in this morning and sitting eating some of it now. It's a really good panettone. Will have to go and grab a few more later.

I am italian, and I can say that Perugina is one of the best brand in Italy especially for chocolate.
But at this price you cannot go wrong, I hope I can find it one for myself as now I am living in Uk but still likes panettone a lot

Perugina makes Bacci chocolate, really nice.....
Price is cheaper than the 1KG £3.99 available at Lidl, which is quite good too.
Nice recipe with ice cream inside...Google "sorvetone" and translate recipe to English....
