Halifax clarity card is fantastic for use abroad and purchasing in other currencies. Only credit card I've ever kept outside of the introduction offer period.

Couldn't agree more.
I personally only apply for credit cards for the BT aspect and associated cashback through Quidco/TCB and never use them as a regular credit cards.
Except for the 'Halifax Clarity' credit card that is.
I must have spent over £1500 on it in November/December so far for Amazon FR & Amazon DE deals.
Then it's all going onto an AA 0% BT card with 0% fee for 22 months.

I was concerned that the games were French but once installed they were all English audio and text. May be a different story if my region was set to France..
