If you think Oyster Bay is a Tesco brand then I wouldn't take your opinion on any wine!

Your ignorance of wine, marketing and the English language should all be an embarrassment to you. Your avatar isn't great either! :disappointed:

It's not Tesco but even that comment is wrong. Tesco Finest has some great wines. Award winners no less but I wouldn't expect you to know this as your knowledge of wines seems limited to say the least.
This is a reasonable Savignon and at a good price point.

Cheaper in Sainsburys £7.75 or Waitrose for £7.39. As for it being a Tesco brand, don't think so.

A free MyWaitrose card gives you an extra 10% off all wines at the moment, so it's actually £6.65 at Waitrose right now for one bottle.

I got these for 5.04 a bottle using the Waitrose offer with £30 off first online shop. Got 23 bottles of good plonk, cider, sherry, Badger Ale, and a bottle of Cockburns for £143. Should have been £233.
And the £30 off code i was given in with my welcome letter didnt even work! So got one off the net, so it would seem anyone can use it. Worth checking before offer ends. Mont Gras Carmenere effectively for a fiver. Yum Yum.

I'm a kiwi - Oyster Bay is an actual NZ brand. Though you are right - Tesco buys container ships full of unwanted NZ wine in huge plastic tanks & blends it all together and sells it for incredibly inflated prices. They label it with vineyard names that don't exist in New Zealand (try googling the crap names they come up with). It's a shame as Tesco are making a fortune from selling cheap crap. You can pay a bit more to buy much better quality wine from single vineyards. Even Aldi and Lidl sell better NZ wine than Tesco.
