Code OCZ to make it at quoted price to be used at checkout.
Not the fastest SSD as its on TLC chips, but still great upgrade over HDD, and price is good.

Sequential Read/Write up to 550/520MB/s - faster than most ofthe sandisk ones that keep on appearing....

Neither of those numbers matter except when you decide to copy multi gigabyte files between SSDs.

did a search prior to posting - this post did not show up - the only search results that came back when searching "OCZ" were the Amazon Black Friday (expired) and the current Amazon deal (£49.98), either a dodgy search function or something fishy going on ;-)

I have found the search function on this site all but useless. Admittedly I haven't used it recently though. When I need to search the site I just use Google.

I've just bought one at 45.99. Couldn't resist. It's not the fastest drive but it is still miles ahead of a platter drive. And for general use it will be a great upgrade for most folk. Any questions just ask.
Oh you also get free delivery!

It does and it doesn't, even smaller files benefit. for an OS drive, mixed iops is probably more important than pure bandwidth, that said once we move to sata express.. bandwidth will make storage seem fast and fluid..
