Just an FYI - this is the 2nd generation model. The 3rd generation model has just been released in the UK

Excellent price, but keep in mind this is the 2nd Generation version.
The 3rd generation verision is available now.
T200377 = 2nd Gen
T3010GB = 3rd Gen
The main difference AFAIK is that the 3rd Gen can also remote control your hot water.
So if you just want heating controls then this is a bargain

Any benefit on the 3rd Gen if you've a combi Boiler, Apart from bigger screen?, not sure what one to go for

If its an OpenTherm boiler than the Nest can control the boiler directly to save even more energy. The 3 comes with a few more software features too.
I've got the 2nd gen and it's great

Thinking if getting something like this but I have questions which ones are best or do they all do the same thing? What i want to to turn heating in my house on and off remotely. Also do i need a professional to install and how much do these things cost to install. I currently have a combi boiler that I have it set on i timer with the boilers inbuilt timer. I don't have any external thermostats or anything it's all controlled through the boiler. Any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks :smile:

Buy it direct from Nest and I think it is £249 installed.

Yes, but if you the boiler casing needs to be removed then you can't touch it unless you are gas safe registered.

I love my NEST. I find it useful being able to change temperature remotely so if I have been out all day we can tell it when we are on our way back so the house is nice and warm.
Don't think it's easy to install though as need to wire something to the boiler too. Suggest getting it fitted professionally.
