I phoned eBay and they said that with PC game code they could not open a case against me. Thanks for the help and let's hope the sale goes smoothly. Just need to sell the head set next

I've just bloody brought this motherboard also! From ebuyer! It's a fantastic board, but obviously means you'll need a sky lake processor and ddr4 ram!

That's generally the process yes. Honestly, if you're new to Ebay then I don't know if key selling is a great way to start. It can be risky and if it comes down to a claim battle between you and a dodgy buyer, PayPal will side with the buyer. The odds are usually stacked against sellers at the best of times tbh.
Maybe try the BST area of this forum instead.

Stupid question but do u check that they paid u first through pay pal and then send them code via email?

BIN but keep in mind that I am an Ebay highly trusted seller. As a new member you might not do as well, especially with a zero feedback score.

Thank you

I've bought things from box.co.uk before and they've been good and delivery was also pretty fast.

FYI this deal has ended. Price for board is now £135 with no headphones.

I bought these headphones off ebay for about £37 as a stop-gap set for my son, but he is very happy with them so no upgrade needed. There is a V3 coming out which is why the price of these has dropped (and why they are coming bundled).

Would love to snag this but after reading about their (box.co.uk) customer service I'll pass.
Ordered several things through them and even visited the show room in Sutton Coldfield. Always spot on for me. Even ordered an item via flubit recently for a 970 and was missing a free game code. Sorted within 24hrs

I recently got the MSI Z170-A PRO which doesn't look too different from the GAMING M5 apart from the few extra bells and whistles (the GAMING M5 has). Seems like a good solid board to me, but watch out if you mess with the boot priority - for some reason mine did not like it and I was forced to reset CMOS. Luckily it's easy enough to get around this by hitting F11 at post and selecting which device to boot from.
Not sure if the premium on this board would be worth it to me. I only paid £85 for the Z170-A PRO and none of the extra features of the GAMING M5 would be useful to me, although I wouldn't mind the extra M.2 slot.

this boards rrp is in region of £140 I think, not to mention the free headset and game all for £130, nice
take reviews with a pinch of salt - there are as many people (if not more) with a vested interest in submitting bad reviews for their competitors
ebay is very user friendly - I used it as a complete newb and it was a pain free experience

I'd maybe try taking a picture of the sticker and then contact MSI support if you're sure the problem is with that part of the form. They can probably force it through for you.

Yeah good idea so the first letter was F for you followed with 9 numbers? Because u drop the last 5 numbers from the code after the space

Then I don't know. I just put the first part in that started with an F as well as the SN from the box and picture of the receipt and it worked.

Trying just the first part and still not work :disappointed:

7 Dec 15#24
That's the one. You only need the first section of it, not the part after the space.
The first SN is on the box.

On the second code mine starts with a F and its inbetween the top pci and red heat shield with 1 letter and 14 numbers. Is this right?
Been putting the codes in for about hour and a half now and still no joy

It worked for me but I had to take the last few digits off the end (I think they were 1001 IIRC). I also took a picture of the invoice that Box sent on my phone and uploaded that as PoP. It's worth registering with MSI anyway as it adds extra time on to your warranty.
I already had that game as well so I sold the code for £26 on Ebay.

Yeah thanks already been there but the second S/N code won't work grrrr
I think you could sell headset for £35 as there are a few on eBay already. Ebay charge 10% and Paypal take a cut of money received.

Hi thanks for this deal as this is the motherboard I wanted and get rainbow six which is nice. I have the Astro A40 headset so was thinking of selling the headphones that come with this motherboard on eBay for £30. Have no experience selling on eBay so would they sell fast and is it easy to sell and how much would buying fees be? Sorry for the questions as its my first build and never used eBay. Thanks

People being delivered empty boxes and if you get a faulty product they are reluctant to refund/fix the issue - https://www.facebook.com/BoxLimited/reviews/ I would rather pay a bit more and go with a more reliable supplier.
