Not unless we are talking a quite dinner party with subtle background music.
These are small "bookshelf" speakers, usually used in a small bedroom, or as the rear channels for a 5.1/7.1 system.
Dont get me wrong, these are a better speaker than the Missions mentioned, but they are not big enough or go deep enough for a party really.
