Thank You, I'll remember that next time I'm out and fancy a quick bite to eat. I'll nip home, make myself a cheaper, convenient sarnie, and then go back into town and resume what I was doing. :innocent:

Depends what you do for a living I guess. Most people sit on their **** in an office for eight hours a day - a sandwich is probably too many calories.
If you work outside for 9-10 hours a day a sandwich probably isn't a proper lunch.
It's almost as though everyone is different - who would've thought?

The way this is going, we will end up with someone with live chickens and sacrificial rituals at a office

I believe tomorrow (Saturday 12th) the M&S Party Food is going half price for the day, which is currently on Buy 4 for the price of 3.
Was previously on buy one get one free but this is a better offer to watch out for..

Sign saying half price 'marked items' - but all sandwiches and wraps were marked up at full price.
However a member of staff wandered by and said ignore that, they are all half price. So they were - they scanned through half price.
Seems like many people will miss the offer, thinking they are still full price as the sign was misleading !
Bit weird..

Well you say "no" but the description you point us at says "yes" :
Yes a sandwich is a proper lunch, if it's got eggs, chips, sausage, tomato and mushroom inside it.

Presenting this deal with "Go get a proper lunch " suggests that people usually don't and having a sandwich would allow them to get a proper lunch which sounds very strange to me.
I agree that a sandwich may be enough for lunch but that doesn't make it a proper lunch...
In my opinion what makes it a proper lunch anyway is taking some time for it, sitting at a table, whatever is in your plate
