I don't think it's a poor man dark souls. The graphics are amazing as opposed to sucky i.e. dark souls. Similarly to DS it has no story and it's all about combat. I liked the game, but if you want it to feel like DS with better graphics just choose maximum difficulty which is literally the only single solitary thing the Souls series has going for it and that can be emulated in other games by choosing hard difficulty. Just saying, don't let Souls 'experts' put you off this game.

Runs badly? It ran perfectly for me on PS4. Slick graphics AND art style is hideous lmao I will assume English is not your native language. 'clunky and ponderous gameplay' you just summed up every Souls games in one media friendly soundbite hats off to you for that.

Dark Souls is **** to anyone who wants a story and good gameplay. Narcissistic fools who are too stupid to choose 'hard' difficulty in other games and elevate themselves to Godhood because they played an incredibly boring game with **** graphics (i.e. Souls games) are more to be pitied than blamed, just in my own humble opinion you understand.

The technical proficiency of the rendering of the graphics is good. The art style that those graphics serve is bland and tired.

I really enjoyed this game. I'm a big Dark Souls fan. This game is much more forgiving, the story is a bit crap but the gameplay is really good. It's a little buggy in places but doesn't ruin the experience, well worth £12.
