You are talking utter garbage. The standard Xbox One controller is excellent. The Elite has a number of additional benefits, but to suggest the standard controller is "absolute junk" is nothing short of laughable.

Totally agree. If you look at the huge amounts of thumbsticks that have worn on peoples ps4 controllers you can't laughably put that in the same group as the xbox one elite controller. I've got both and the elite controller although expensive is in a different league. There is nothing wrong with the xbox one controller, in my opinion when you go back to a 360 one the different is night and day

So you say the XBOX ONE feels plastic and the PS4 don't, strange that as I was using a PS4 controller last night and to me it feels a lot cheaper and more uncomfortable than the XBOX ONE controller. but yes everyone has there own opinion but I cannot recall any Playstation controller that comes near to a XBOX controller in usability.

It's a nice controller for sure especially especially when compared with the standard one, I mean I bought a spare Halo limited edition controller and the thing feels so plastic and cheap even when compared with the old 360 one.
The reason why I'm not blown away by it is because I predominantly play on the PS4/PC and Xbox for the exclusives but the Elite controller feels marginally better than the standard PS4 controller, however if all you have is an Xbox one then I would seriously recommend that you get the Elite controller cos the standard one is absolute junk.
P.S. To top it all off the left trigger on Halo 5 controller I bought was squeaking like made straight out of the box.

Same thing with my Chief controller. Went through 3 of them before I was happy.
Quality control must be terrible on them.
