1 Month SIM Only Rolling Contract
All that for ONLY £10 per month
No credit check
If you’ve been turned down for credit or you’re a freelance worker with an irregular income or self-employed, you can still get a SIM only deal with LIFE Mobile.
Pay weekly if you prefer
Monthly payments don’t work for you? You can set up a weekly or fortnightly recurring payment from your debit or credit card instead.
Smart Cap means no nasty surprises
So you don’t get unexpectedly high bills, all LIFE Mobile plans offer a £5 “buffer” that limits what you’ll pay for usage that’s above your regular monthly allowance. The buffer can be reduced to £1 or increased to £30 whenever you like. LIFE Mobile uses EE's 3G network, which offers the widest coverage of any UK carrier.

Better to provide reasonable 3G than to provide sub standard 4G

Got this deal but can't get 3g to work. Anyone had this problem? They have a website to go to for the correct settings, but this is nonexistent. Just seen a host or reviews slating the company. Hope I haven't made a terrible mistake (albeit only £10 worth)

I was contemplating this, but ee (retentions) offered me 4gb plus unl calls/texts for £12 after I referenced this tariff. Might be worth a call if you are in a position to request your pac code. For £10 they offer 2gb, both as rolling 1 month tariffs.

You are not the only one.
Mine number has been disconnected for several days now. They admitted that they have internal system issues meaning they s******d up with their porting. First they gave me the excuse that it will take longer since you I was migrating from the same network which is a lot of B*****ks.
Asked them how much longer and their reply was your guess is as good as mine

I would make a note of their contact page details at https://lifemobile.co.uk/Info/ContactUS especially the link to the Code of Practise in the Complaints bit at the bottom of the page. I gave them my PAC code 13 days ago and have had no working mobile phone number for over 6 days now and started the ball rolling for a formal complaint before contacting http://www.ombudsman-services.org/communications.html:neutral_face:

Brilliant price, think the £14 on for ULM/ULT & 6GB is worth having as well..
Watch out if you go for any of the non-unlimited ones:

I joined on the £6 tariff. Couldn't get in to my account with the details they supplied, so rang them and they answered quite fast and sorted the problem straight away  Apparently a lot of people are having issues logging in via Chrome Browser, but if you try Explorer or Edge, it works.

I joined life 2 weeks ago under simular deal, still waiting for number port to complete, old sim was deactivated after 2 days so no working phone for 12 days. Keep contacting them daily keep saying bit of a backlog and will be within next 5 days. Getting frustrated now.

C4arl, Ask to speak to Andrew one of the Call centre managers. He is very helpful and will liaise with ops team to (hopefully) sort it out for you. Be forceful but nice is also my advice.

Network and service is fine but I have been without my old mobile phone number for 6 days now as they have messed up the PAC code porting and when anyone rings my old number they get "Sorry you have dialled an incorrect number" and they allegedly have a very large backlog with other people stuff just before Christmas like me!!!

My 3G life sim which is mostly on h+ speeds are consistently gadget than and reliable than my former Vodafone 4G which was mostly 3G as the network coverage was bad except some few places. I somehow arms to have good reception everywhere with my life mobile sim

Bought one of these for a guy that works for me - number porting completely cocked up, delivery of Sim too late so the old connection was switched off before the new Sim arrived, £10 compensation paid - the guy decided he didnt want to port his number after all - for the next 6 days emails received saying that they could not port the number even though we told them we now did not need that service
Its all gone quiet now - lets see if the £10 credit hits the account
Despite the problems - its a great deal but how long will it last

No 4G I am afraid and they piggyback on EE's network, so for the price it is great.

Is life mobile new as never heard of it?
What chances are there of them folding in the near future?
Are reviews that bad for it?
Got to say for a sim only deal it's seems great despite being only 3G.

Just joined them with this deal. Called up on Friday to ask a couple of questions and was very happy to get through to an English call centre straight away - staff were friendly and helpful.
I think a lot of the negative reviews are from when it was owned by phones4u - newer ones seem more positive.

Went for the Uswitch £6 month deal recently (1500 mins, u/l texts1 gb data) for family member. Had a few problems getting number ported across - seems EE had some technical issues - so it took a week. However Customer Support (which answered calls within a few seconds each time...rather than the usual 10 mins plus with other providers) were very friendly, genuinely tried to be helpful and even called back when issue resolved to check we were now OK. Also gave two months free credit for inconvenience so I would give them good marks for CS. Service is good as well (although obviously just 3G not 4G but as it is used in a Galaxy S2 that's not an issue). The cap on chargeable use outside of contracted package is also very useful (given user managed to spend over £350 on Candy Crush in one week in the past!).
However if you want a good 4g package and are prepared to have 12 month contract and claim cash back then Vodafone sim currently on mobiles.co.uk (u/l mins & text , 2gb data) for a net £5.50 a month is excellent (have never had a problem with cash back from mobiles.co.uk and despite what others say I find Vodafone service good)

You're right. The vodafone deal is a good one even though it was voted cold on this site. It was even £4.50 a month net from e2save until a few weeks ago.

So far excellent customer service with these guys on 2 accounts. Also very good signal strength for us. £5 overspend cap limit is a very useful feature for those of us who may go over the contract minutes. Highly recommended.
