I have just bought this tv this morning and thought it's a reasonable price for 65" 4k 3d tv.
It's around 2000 elsewhere.

4K UHD resolution with Colour Prime. Check. Cinema 3D with 2D-3D conversion. Check. The smartest operating system - webOS 2.0. Check. When it comes to the most important features, the LG 65UF860V checks every box!
4K Ultra HD TV - the ultimate in detail
With an astonishing 4K screen resolution from LG's unique IPS Panel, the 65UF860v offers exceptional picture quality. This resolution is four times greater than the more conventional 1920 x 1080 Full HD TVs and it's a difference you can see easily see. Even when close up to the screen, the detail and realism is awesome. With more 4K content becoming available this year the full benefits of 4K UHD vision can now be fully realised. Yet, thanks to LG's 4K Resolution Upscaler, even standard HD signals can be upscaled to near 4K clarity and detail.
Colour prime for the finest picture realism
New for this year's premium TVs, LG's Colour Prime offers an additional 20% colour reproduction. This gives far greater depth and subtlety to images, making them 'come to life' like never before.
Cinema 3D TV with 2D to 3D conversion
Cinema 3D TV is the popular passive 3D system from LG. Passive 3D TV is considered more comfortable to watch with less flicker. Other technical advantages include a wider viewing angle and brighter images. The glasses are great value and also considerably lighter to wear. The lack of batteries onboard also means they don't have to be recharged. What's more, with 2D to 3D conversion, you can get the 3D experience with any program you care to watch - whether filmed in 3D or not!
The best smart interface just got better with webOS 2.0
Widely acclaimed as one of the best smart TV interfaces, LG's webOS 2.0 operating system is now better than ever. Rather than swapping to dedicated smart TV menu pages, webOS uses superimposed icons, folders and side bars for clear and easy access to smart content without leaving the current screen image. Fast, responsive and truly adept at multi-tasking, webOS shows there is a smarter way to control your TV - even for technophobes!
Magic remote with voice interaction
In addition to offering effortless webOS control, the supplied Magic remote offers voice recognition. Magic Remote Voice allows you to enter search terms and also access a host of other commands just using the power of speech. Simply talk into the remote control and let your TV do all the searching for you!
Premium Smart
With a huge range of easily accessible features, the 65UF860v opens a world of entertainment. As you'd expect, there's a wide range of Premium LG applications, including many popular video on demand apps, such as Netflix, BBC iPlayer, Now TV, Amazon Prime and YouTube. There's also a web browser plus DLNA certification to allow you to stream across your network from other devices, such as your PC or laptop.
For a TV that's far more than the sum of its parts, check out the impressive LG 65UF860v.

Good at the price according to the reviews but will need tuning to get the best. Brave of you to make the jump,TVs are evolving so fast at the moment it's difficult to know when if ever is the best time to buy, I'll stick with my 50" Pannis for the time being..

HEAT!
Cracking set, only some of the new 4K 2016 HDR sets will come close to the quality on this set ;-)
Same price in Hughes [no 6 year warranty included] but comes with Top-of-the-cashback @3.15%
for those that do not like|have a thing|think Julian is already Rich-er enough!
Extremely tempted by this reduction as now cheaper than it was at Costco and BFCM deal price..

I'd take the 55" LG OLED (£1600) over this any day.although that one is not 4k but the picture quality difference is night and day.
I won't spend over £1500 on a tv unless it's OLED.
