advice please. ive just reserved the LG 49 inch one which i found on hukd yesterday at the same price as this 55inch one (with code) but it has a higher pmi rate at 1600 instead of 1000 on this tv which apparently improves the picture, that one also has a 5yr warrenty.
im not sure whether to cancel and get this one as its a bigger screen or smaller one with a longer warranty.
Do you think there will be noticable differences in pic quality?

If the 49 is the 850v it will have a 100/120hz panel where the 55 has a 50/60 hz panel. Also read reviews as the 680v is one of the LGs which is faux uhd meaning it has missing sub pixels. The 850v will be true uhd.
Keep in mind that because of the larger screen this one would look a little worse (lower PPI) anyway. I'd only go for this one if you've got a huge living room.

My quidco is showing 13% cashback on this, but using the voucher code would probably invalidate it. £609 after cashback is hot though

Was this code a legit curry's code as I purchased this TV today and was told in the store that it wasn't one of their codes. As part of curry's price promise they should match this price so I'm not sure whether to contact curry's further or just to let it go?
