The plus has caffeine in. If you are doing an endurance event such as a marathon they recommend about 3 an hour with the caffeine up to a maximum of about 8 depending on your weight then switch to the regular. Also if you are sensitive to caffeine you shouldn't use it but normally you can take on about 60g of carbs and hour and with caffeine you can increase it to 75g. I always use high5 it's the least sickly of the energy gels if you are going to have to eat 12 for a marathon. I also like the raspberry plus one as its a bit tart and cleans your tastebuds after having lots of sweet orange gels. Normally I get from tkmaxx at about 50p each so heat from me for this one.

The ones I picked up were short dated, early to mid January 2016
