Absolutely Benjus, this wine is truly undrinkable, I got caught on it earlier, no price is cheap for such a wine.

The only review on the Tesco website says "Undrinkable".
How many any of the people voting hot have actually drunk this specific wine?
My experience of the CDP that always appears in the supermarkets just before Christmas is that it's mediocre stuff that's overpriced even at the reduced price. I won't be touching this with a bargepole unless I have some reason to think this is an exception to the rule.

Yeah it's the SNP's fault you have to pay more for wine. Only the Labour Party opposed the Alcohol (Minimum Pricing) (Scotland) Act 2012

Unbelievably good price for a wine from this region however the label doesn't mention the grape varieties which I find a bit strange for a supposedly premium bottle.

Rioja is made from tempranillo grapes whereas most Château neuf are grenache or syrah... So my father in law tells me. He may have been lying.
Hot deal by the way!

T'is good wine yeah?
Normally get Campo Viejo Rioja due to liking it muchly, so I hope it compares favourably.

I'm not trying to pass as a wine connoisseur, but if you like rioja which has quite a distinctive taste, this is nothing like one.
Château neuf, are generally very nice, with even the cheaper end still being drinkable, but scholars maintain that you usually you have to spend £20ish for a good one.
