Great game but there's a bug where if you download all the many updates (20+) installation fails :disappointed:.

Because it's basically GT5 with a few more cars and tracks. Also GT Sport for PS4 has already been announced coming out next year.

The most likely answer would be it released very close to the launch of the PS4 but as a PS3 only game. No doubt fueled by sales of GT5 they printed a huge amount of the game thinking it would sell bucketloads. Then the PS4 sold like hotcakes and suddenly most people were upgrading much earlier than Sony probably expected leaving them with millions of copies of the game but no where near as many people who actually wanted to buy it.
At this point the game has been out 2 years and there's only going to be a very limited number of PS3 owners who don't have a ps4 and don't already own GT6 but still want to buy it so there's just a lot of stock left over.

At this point the game has been out 2 years and there's only going to be a very limited number of PS3 owners who don't have a ps4 and don't already own GT6 but still want to buy it so there's just a lot of stock left over.
