Heat added nice find but why does Dyson insist on the rollerball, much prefer the old style

You mean with wheels? I don't mind the roller ball. I find it's easy to move around but I wouldn't say it's THAT much easier. Think the weight determines that more.

You can still push this backwards and forward same way you could with a wheeled model.

I think it's because a lot of the electronics are contained in the ball.

Roller ball is much easier to use once you learn how to. Use your wrist to turn and tilt rather than conventional method.

I have this hoover and I wish I never spent £300 on it... it's not even worth he £196. Heavy, bulky, difficult to empty... overcomplicated piece of junk.

These are terrible on carpet, a relative has this model and then borrowed our Shark and it easily picked up 5x more and was much lighter on the thick carpet. If you're insisting on going Dyson go DC41/55, this model is incredibly poor in comparison, or if you want lightweight easy to use and reliable get a Shark.

What's good for a mix of wooden floors and carpets?
