I believe they are the same company, or one's a subsidiary or what not.

They may look similar and may even share some components but they're not the same. Important differences
- Batteries - dewalt 1; stanley 2
- Battery capacity - dewalt 1.3 Ah; Stanley 2.0Ah
- Manufacturer guarantee - dewalt 1 year; Stanley 3 years (drill only, not battery)
I bought the Stanley from Homebase and this deal doesn't make me think I should have waited and gone to B&Q.

Yeah they had the stock out last night in loughbororough store ready to go out. Maybe 20-30 units plus a lot left in reserve stock. Half price microwave at £40 and a washing machine at undetermined price (will be shown on system by now but not when i left work today)

2 metre drop test. You must be an incompetent tool user if you nèed to test its dropping resistance.
Also who the ** is 2 metres tall to drop it that often.
Ill borrow your drill and give it the 6.5ton forklift run over test and if it breaks it means its an inferior tool.
What utter cows udders you speak.

I bought this on offer before, very low use work and yet the gears seem to get blocked up with dust and grinds to a halt!
