Also British Pork Sausages and Irish Recipe Sausages
Maybe a little cheaper at the local butchers, but not by a lot ? I don't honestly know, I thought they were a decent price, cheaper than the supermarket value makes
These will have a very low meat content. Sausages are pretty cheap anyway so spend a few pence more and buy some quality sausages with a meat content around 90%. I'd rather have 4 good quality sausages than 8 rubbish.

I find sometimes though that too high a meat content and they don't taste like sausages! Just cylindrical bags of mince.

I believe these are the ones which have around a 70% meat content, so not too shabby at all for this price.
The ones they sometimes have as part of their meat 'Super Six' deals are better, with a meat content of between 80% and 90%, but they are usually £1.29 to £1.79.

never had a bad tasting sausage, i often wonder what horse or random gristle is the contents
a good sausage has the right blood to fat ratio and legally minimum 30% 'meat'
but we all know its the preservatives, nitrates, phosphates, soya protein & flavour enhancers that really enhance the flavour

There is definitely a point at which they become too cheap.....
