Not a bad price but this version you cannot control amount of water! Which can be a nuisance.

Agreed, but at least it delivers water that is pretty close to boiling, unlike the Tefal Quick Cup I had before.

Fill your drinking vessel of choice with (cold) water to the required level. Pour this water into the Breville Hot Cup water reserve. Boil exact amount of water required (excluding any negligible loss when the boiling point occurs), & dispense the now boiled water into the same drinking vessel ready for consumption.
This kettle is very good BUT you can not clean the unit where the water is stored so eventually it goes green with mould so I would not buy this again so voting it COLD

Just wondering did you empty water out at night - got my mum one recently and have asked her to make sure she empties it completely before she goes to bed as per instructions

hey dude, I been using mine for couple of years and used everyday, I haven't seen green with mould, missue clean it once, because of lime scale. Read the instruction how to clean your kettle, I think it is clever little kettle.

Doesn't that defeat the whole "Convenience" idea of the thing?
