Bought some a few days ago to clean/degrease the engine block and it just washed the oil away like it's nothing. Dries off very rapidly too.
I would imagine there are various other uses for this stuff, especially as it is Acetone free.
Halfrauds own brand is £5.49/500ml and the muc off branded stuff is like £8.00/400ml.
DESCRIPTION
An acetone-free cleaning agent with intense penetrating properties for oily and greasy machine parts, disc brakes and brake parts. Ideal for industrial repairs and assemblies.

Maybe but Toolstation is so much closer for me and also probably has a lot more branches.
600ml @ £3.49 is not a bad price but that one contains acetone which is fairly destructive on plastics so maybe not as versatile.

Paraffin is about the best and cheapest degreaser, not sure you can use it on brakes tho.

Never spotted any in there but again anything with Acetone in it is extremely bad for plastics i.e. things like engine covers etc so not as versatile.
This is a good way to get that engine area looking nice and tidy for potential buyers.

Cleans carpet stains better than vanish, friend in garage told me, I was skeptical but it works!

Not really, they both have around 200 stores each nationwide. It's also available at Amazon at around this price as an add on item. It's £2.38 at the moment.
