Really???... There are many manufactures that produce much better quality products than Bose, both in terms of sound and build quality. B&W or NAD for instance. I'm not knocking Bose as I love their SoundTouch systems (I use mine all the time) but my NAD Viso out performs similar priced products by Bose by a long way. Their old dock also looked like it used the cheapest plastic possible and I owned a £50 JBL dock which sounded twice as good.

I suggest you listen to Bose systems first as I don't think you can say it's great just because it has Bose written on it.

I'm looking for Android compatible version as well. Any suggestions? Do the manufacturers of these devices assume only 6 people in the UK own anything other than an IPhone???

I think it would work just as well as a speaker using the aux-in as the lightning connection (if not better if you read the Amazon reviews). :man:

But the Lightning connector is an Apple invention, therefore far superior than a 3.5mm jack connection :stuck_out_tongue:

No that's fair enough. I'm going on the systems we used to review and quality test (physical and audible) in my old job, a number of products from different manufacturers. I will admit NAD wasn't one of them but we did compare and contrast against B&W, Bose products tended to out perform a large number of them. This was 7 years a go now, so true, I can't compare right now anymore as I don't do that job or have the equipment available to compare (nor the money) anymore. I did purchase a pair of sound cancelling headphones last Christmas for myself though which were Bose. And they are easily the best headset I've ever owned and I've had a few. They were pricey though. But maybe there quality had deteriorated over the last few years. Sadly I can't comment on that. I'll take your word for it though, except for my headset because they're awesome :-)

I'm currently listening to Etta James (as I type) on my Bose QuietComfort 25 Headphones and do love these too, not had them long and have not tried any others so can't comment on comparisons, but can confirm they were superb on a recent long distant flight.

Yes but they wouldn't make as much money as you having to buy a new one. I do however find it weird that they don't do these kind of devices for android, I had a HTC one M7 for about a year and half and hated it, great build but hated the software.
