it's probably the bad taste in peoples mouth from unity, I suspect folks were stung last time and are wary this time around or franchise fatigue and its not sold as much

It runs at 1080p60 on GTX 980, but not on ultra settings. Missing sli support, unfortunately. Many reviews point out the graphical downgrade relative to ACU, however, at least the performance is more solid. Gameplay can get a bit repetitive, mind.

SLI is indeed missing for now (apparently working on it).
Saying that, my performance with two cards is much better than with a single card. Getting around 80+fps at 1440p on two 970s. Getting around 50-60 with just the one.
