That is a little like saying 'Dacia make cars for £7K when you're looking at buying a BMW. You can pick up base layers from lots of places, but these are very good, and I wouldn't really want to give Sports Direct my money personally

I'm looking for a decent base layer (to be then topped with a merino B/L as well prior to mid-layer/s) but need it to be fairly long. If you do have one does it come below the waist belt area?

I don't have one of these. I have too many myself so i just posted the deal. They seem to get good reviews and altura is a decent brand so you can't go wrong at this price
Yeah i've got altura kit already for cycling, now looking for kit thats going to do me good in Norway at the end of Jan :disappointed:

I use black bin liner! It does me well! It's waterproof but gets me wet inside though!

The altura base layers are absolutely tiny, I wear mainly large in cycling tops and my short sleeve altura base layer in an xl is too tight and feels like it's cutting off blood flow. Definately order a couple of sizes up
