Kilo of bacon for £1.50, what more do you want?! 22p a kilo cheaper than Sainsbury's cooking bacon.

I love that cooking bacon. So much nicer than the stuff you don't cook. :sunglasses:

Only use for this......
Cook till its really crispy
Save the bacon to one side and add the mostly cooled fat to dry mix of muffins.
Add crumbled cheese and chopped chives
Add crumbled bacon
Add wet ingredients and cook your muffins

Tesco do 500g for 80p so this is cheap.
Pick through the packs and sometime you get quite good bits.
last pack I got was like thin streaky slices Ideal for covering turkey/chicken wrappong prawns/sausages.
The bigger bits get trimmed(if needed) for sarnies.
If you like smoked you can find end cuts that are really tasty.
