Saw this is the Golborne Asda, a bargain. No longer on Asdas site so must be discontinuing this pack size, so should be national at this price. They also had wafer thin chicken to at £1.
EDIT:Confirmed national deal.
Bargain seen as even the 200g packs of the same stuff sell for more.

You should try the Lidl equivalent...100% pork...no water or rubbish like they have in all the other supermarket wafer thin ham

There's just something extremely off about British ham. I mean, it smells awful, doesn't taste very good but the prices are cheap.
Makes me wish they'd sell ham from Portugal and Spain. :disappointed:

Processed meats are not the healthiest option, pay a bit more for sliced meats and you will not only get more taste
but less preservatives.

Yes I should have been a bit more specific, if you cannot see the grain of the meat then its processed.

If you cannot see the grain, it's more than likely mechanically recovered, not processed. Processed includes bacon and ham, which, if I'm not mistaken, are also sliced.

Processed refers to any meat which has an additive included, all of the packs of meat in the picture are from shaped meat, not all of which is mechanically recovered. Not all bacon is processed.
