Yoshi is back with Baby Mario in Yoshi s New Island, this is the third installment of the popular franchise. Features: Yoshi s New Island keeps the series fun game-play mechanics such as Yoshi s Flutter Jump, Ground Pound and Egg Throw while also offering new abilities. For example, use the giant-sized Mega Eggs to mow down obstacles, destroy pipes and blocks, and reveal hidden doors. Throughout the game, different worlds feature a variety of art styles, including oil, watercolor and crayon.

Disagree, I like the Mario Land games and really rate this game as different type of platformer. Okay has some of the Mario badies, but is quite different with swallowing the eggs etc and aiming them, and the different types of eggs along with the puzzle elements. My kid also liked it. Quality game for me and one of the best 3DS titles (we have 25 3DS games).

It's not bad but awful when compared to earlier Yoshi titles, you can tell it was developed by one of Nintendos D-list teams.

Having a nail scratched against a chalkboard would be better than this game's soundtrack. It's just awful.
Especially the cop-out of the final boss.
