I've got these and the xo ones, would definitely recommend them but I'd go for the xo ones at a few pounds more. xo ones have the mic monitoring these don't.
If you have a new Xbox One controller they released this summer with the 3.5mm headphone port you don't need the adapter, which is worth at least £15 on its own.

Have these and think there good. Only thing that annoys me is that the lead out of the adapter is not L shaped and can get in the way

Not sure on compatibility with all PCs, doesn't work in one of mine from 2008 just gives a weird echo and a couple of muted channels.
I've heard the controller adapters on these are quite temperamental. Plus it's not as simple as plugging and playing. guide for anyone who needs it:
