No the diffence in price you could get s external 1tb or even a 2tb drive and for me and others found stuff installed quicker on the external than the internal drive

I'd say no, gives you the opportunity to limit the amount of games your kid has at any point. "You can only buy this new game if you delete/sell/trade in the others you have". I'm not a parent so don't hold me to this haha!
