Mine came yesterday. I'm pretty pleased to say all the packaging seems generic, not much German to be seen. Just have to swap the kettle lead for one with a UK plug.

Nope. I bought mine when it was still showing as in stock. My deliver date was 27/28 Nov and then got moved to 16/18 Dec.
I have ordered the one on Amazon.fr too and will see which comes first and return the other.

Of those still waiting with a big delay, did you buy it after they'd sold out, ie picking Amazon from the other seller box where it stated there was a delay? Thought those ones always looked doubtful and was most likely a technical glitch.

This was the best deal during the whole period. My cynical self makes me wonder whether they reached their quota on this and hope to get more people to cancel by promising delivery after Christmas. After all, exact same bundle is in stock at full price on Amazon.fr and they've been known to previously use fulfilment centres across Europe but seemingly not in this instance.

All power supplies in European electronics are built to the same standard, as they are all the same power supplies, designed to function on 220-240 volts. A PSU designed for Germany will work exactly the same in the UK, France, Greece or Italy. Just change the plug so it fits in the wall.

PSUs are designed to be used only in the regions where they are sold.
Don't try to use an Xbox One PSU that was built for a region that has different power requirements.

great deal, its just unfortunate that fallout 4 is unplayable on consoles due to the fluctuating frame rates, huge stutters and bad texture and shadow rendering. best thing is to sell fallout and get halo

Oh and with regards to anyone that wants a card that doesn't charge conversion rates you can have either the Post Office card that was mentioned, Halifax Clarity which was also mentioned and two others that I am aware of, the Aqua Card (only two of them don't one is the cashback) and the MBNA American Express card as well as the American Express Platinum Charge Card (if you fancy the £450pa fee).

You can either just use another kettle lead or you can purchase a convertor, or cut the plug and rewire it.

The convertor for any appliance you purchase on the continent is easy, just look at the speakers you have on for your desktop computer and you will see that they just have a 2pin convertor.

I had an issue with my Kinect. Microsoft checked when I first turned on the console and sent my a brand new Kinect. They didn't ask for proof of purchase.

I bought my xbox one from Amazon.de last year. Took about 4 days to arrive. Any kettle plug should work, I used one from an old pc.
Other than that it is exactly the same as having a UK version.
Oh, warranty-wise... Just contact Microsoft direct I'd anything goes wrong.

Think I'll take a punt at this. I have a really top end PC, but 1TB media player, blu ray drive, online services for around £200 isn't shabby. Plus as much as i like to dream, doubt Forza etc will come to PC.

If it's a Clarity card there's no charge for paying in Euro.

Pay in GBP, looking at it, I think they actually charge a % of the item's value.

Even cheaper if you pay in Euros and the card supplier doesn't charge. I think Halifax doesn't for Euros.
