The return is normally to our logistical centres in Germany, but you are most welcome to contact us any time so that we can assist you in the best way possible.

clarky666 to kaplonk
23 Nov 15#98
2.75% of the total amount plus a flate rate £1.25 on top of that.
Assuming its VISA debit which im sure it will be then current exchange rate brings it in at £224 all in.
So 2.75% of that is £6.16 plus the £1.25 equalling £7.41 in total 'fees' to Santander.
All in it will cost you £231.41 - still a bargain :-)
***Please double check this as only trying to help out and my sums may be slightly skewed alllowing for changes in exchange rate and the fact its nearly 4am***

23 Nov 151#100
You can either just use another kettle lead or you can purchase a convertor, or cut the plug and rewire it.
The convertor for any appliance you purchase on the continent is easy, just look at the speakers you have on for your desktop computer and you will see that they just have a 2pin convertor.
Oh and with regards to anyone that wants a card that doesn't charge conversion rates you can have either the Post Office card that was mentioned, Halifax Clarity which was also mentioned and two others that I am aware of, the Aqua Card (only two of them don't one is the cashback) and the MBNA American Express card as well as the American Express Platinum Charge Card (if you fancy the £450pa fee).

Xbone should last longer than last than a 360 (I had my 360 fixed twice under warranty). Being next gen it runs a lot cooler due to underpowered GPU/CPU so no need to worry about over heating. And not much demand on the PSU which is external because of the same reason.
I saw this offer too! Really hoping the offer price is somewhere near the £250 mark but maybe I'm being too optimistic....:man:. This Amazon.de deal is MEGA hot though. Will wait and see what Amazon here throw into the mix.

I got this from this site https://www.mastercard.com/global/currencyconversion/ so given this is the first time I've done this on Amazon.de it let me sign in with my UK account how easy! I did select to pay on GBP not sure if this was best option? I used my Clarity card for the first time... I'm really made up... I've already purchased the Argos deal at £279.99 which came with Halo 5 this is now going back, that deal did have a potential £20 TCB and the £10 voucher so potentially £250 but I've still saved nearly £35 and Halo 5 can get for £30 now and fallout 4 for £40 so another £10 potential saving plus fallout 3 download happy days!

Not sure if this has been mentioned in previous posts but as per the Xbox website the PSU is region specific..
PSUs are designed to be used only in the regions where they are sold. Don't try to use an Xbox One PSU that was built for a region that has different power requirements.
Don't use an unlicensed accessory, such as a non-Microsoft replacement PSU, or any accessory that plugs in between the console and the PSU. Don't use the Xbox One external PSU outside the country where it was sold. If you use the PSU in a different country, it or your console may be damaged, and the warranty may be invalidated.
The Xbox One PSU contains an internal fuse that helps protect your console from voltages that are too high and power surges. However, the PSU is a sealed unit. Therefore, you can’t replace the internal fuse

Why are people SO determined to undermine this deal?
Paranoid playstation owners perhaps?

Amazon.de will have a 1 year return to base policy. That is the law. Are Microsoft offering a greater guarantee than 1 yr??
sdoherty1000
23 Nov 15#177
Where does it say it has a 2 year warranty?

Deal seems not real - it's 418 Euros which is around £300.

Hes right though, you wont get any warranty (Proud Xbox owner)

23 Nov 155#185
Wow, some people really have no idea what the heck they are talking about. Here, from Amazon themselves:
You are welcome to return any item of consumer electronics or hardware or any mobile phone to us within 30 days of receipt if it does not meet your needs or expectations. The return is normally to our logistical centres in Germany, but you are most welcome to contact us any time so that we can assist you in the best way possible.
For a detailed description in English of our returns policy please click on the link below:
The period of guarantee is two years if an item turns out to be defective. During this period the item will be repaired by our Consumer Electronics Repair and Returns Service free of charge.

You said paranoid playstation owner perhaps, so i corrected you
bilbob
23 Nov 15#187
You didn't correct me, I didn't specifically address that comment at you. I addressed it generally at the people that seem determined to spread FUD unnecessarily about this deal, which I attempted to correct.
If you feel you fall under the category of deliberately attempting to undermine this deal, then fair enough.

28 Nov 15#222
This was the best deal during the whole period. My cynical self makes me wonder whether they reached their quota on this and hope to get more people to cancel by promising delivery after Christmas. After all, exact same bundle is in stock at full price on Amazon.fr and they've been known to previously use fulfilment centres across Europe but seemingly not in this instance.

30 Nov 15#228
Of those still waiting with a big delay, did you buy it after they'd sold out, ie picking Amazon from the other seller box where it stated there was a delay? Thought those ones always looked doubtful and was most likely a technical glitch.

30 Nov 15#229
Nope. I bought mine when it was still showing as in stock. My deliver date was 27/28 Nov and then got moved to 16/18 Dec.
I have ordered the one on Amazon.fr too and will see which comes first and return the other.

like would it still run games I buy from the UK? not sure if its region specific like some DVDs!
definitely a good price!
Even if I sell Fallout 4 on GAME that will be like less than 200£ por the XONE. O____O
Sorry I just need to take some breath and order this. Then Ill add HEAAAAAT!
- Why did the console gamer cross the road?
- To render buildings on the order side.
