Best version in my opinion, maybe not for frame rate / resolution, but for perfect use of the Wii U tablet controller

Deus Ex is also great for the pad, makes being stealthy far more fluid and fun imo. A bit sad so many gamers wrote off the gamepad as being too clunky without ever trying it out.

Straight Right developed both and did an excellent job on both ports.
It's a bit sad that so many gamers hate what's unfamiliar. No wonder gamers have such a bad rep.

Nintendo gamers aren't known to support 3rd party games so it's no surprise the Wii U was left only with Ubisoft's Just Dance.

Arguably, it should be Nintendo gamers aren't known to support rubbish/poor 3rd party ports.

AC4 was a great port and yet Nintendo gamers despised it regardless (it lacked DLC but I still loved it).
NFS:MW is still the best console port and Nintendo gamers don't care about it neither.
One Piece: Unlimited World Red was a great port and little to no support either from Wii U gamers.
NG3:RE was a really good port too (although censored on Wii U) and not much support from the Wii U fanbase.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist made good use of the GamePad and looked really nice but yet another one that got ignored (it's no Chaos Theory but still better than Conviction).
So yeah dude, you're totally right, the problem is that the multiplatforms on the Wii U were poor and rubbish and the Wii U fanbase not supporting them wasn't the problem. Totally.

It was a real pity about Blacklist. I really enjoyed it and it deserved better to sell better than it did.

Maybe Splinter Cell and PoP are both done for good now. There's not been a PoP game since 2010. This really sucks because PoP 2008 was so freakishly awesome and gorgeous.

I was looking at buying AC4 for the Wii U but too many reviews cited some pretty major framerate issues. And with Need for speed having multiplayer, people would tend to buy it on the console that their pals had. NG3 was pretty poorly received in general, and censoring a port isn't going to make it any better. Blacklist looks great though, that's on my list.

Writing off people who play on the Wii U as not caring about multi-platform games misses the point a bit though. The games you list didn't do as well as hoped due to multiple factors including lower review scores, had already been released before on other platforms, other platforms had better versions and the plain fact the Wii U hasn't sold very well. I, like many others I'd guess, chose to buy the Wii U on the strength of its first party exclusives and that shouldn't be confused with not being willing to support the 3rd party releases when there is a reason to buy them. I think it would have taken a miracle for the Wii U to have had proper 3rd party support once the PS4/XB1 released and publishers knew it wouldn't be profitable to develop for the console very early on.
