As I seem to post on every one of these walkie-talkie posts, these toy things are very poor value and invariably worse than no walkie-talkie at all. We've a drawer full of them (Spiderman, Cars, Star Wars, Frozen etc.) and they barely work in the same room, much less through a partition wall.
A set of 'proper' walkie-talkies (Binatone Latitude 100) are far better fun for kids to play with and are usually less than £20. They're also useful if camping, hiking etc.
"But that's three times the price of these!", the cry goes up.
Well, yes. But let's consider the value rather than just the cost. I'd far rather spend £20 on something that does the job than £6.20 on something that is literally useless, as these almost inevitably are.

Agreed...my son has these toy story ones and they are utter crap!

I got the Transformers ones last week. OK they're £12.99 but they get mostly 4/5* reviews on Amazon for a walkie talkie toy which is what I was after for my 3 year old, so good choice for me.

Total Junk, had a different stickers version wouldn't go 10meters, so much interference,
