Not sure if it qualifies as a specific deal, but any opportunity to take advantage of price cuts is worth knowing in my book

Surprised it's took kingfisher as long as it has tbh considering the megastore at Trafford park which is almost always half empty as well - it's a good job screwfix continue to prop them up!
Shame though for the folk that work at the Stretford store, hopefully they'll get re- deployed elsewhere locally.

If it's anything like our local that shut down there won't be anything worth having. We think ours moved the good stock to the other local-ish store and then left all the carp to reduce.

They've already started transferring their main stock to Trafford. Really doubt whether there's going to be anything decent left and if it's like their other closing down sales they barely knock any money off!

Not true sorry. I work there. We have not been allowed to transfer any stock whatsoever and we will literally be running the regular stock down over the next 9 weeks.

Ballymena store in NI is closing too, sale started yesterday 10-20% off everything, were told the discounts will increase as the weeks go past. Set to close in February. Had a full range of everything in stock.

prices are typically 400% more than similar trade suppliers even with clearance items there is rarely a bargain I have a trade card and do not use it due to them ripping you off get real one off purchase maybe.

Closed one store near us, not many bargains stick was transferred to another store or taken back to their main depot. A few bargains but nothing to make tou go out of your way.

I wouldn't get too excited, when our local small store in Bury closed last month they transferred all good stock to the larger warehouse store in Bury. Only products in tatty boxes were reduced and put through the clearance section. Most of the staff were transferred so there was a good ending to the story !

This isn't the case at Stretford. It's a trial of a complete clearance with no stock transferred out whatsoever. There are some good bargains to be had.
