That means you can send a parcel 72% cheaper than the Post Office when you book through Parcel2Go using InPost! **
If you don't like waiting in for a collection or can’t stand queuing at your local collection depot, then InPost has the answer.
Simply drop your parcel off at an InPost parcel locker when it suits you and it'll be delivered to your recipient within 2-3 working days. Whilst every effort will be made to do this, collection and delivery cannot be guaranteed.
Please ensure you're aware of the location of your local Inpost locker before completing your order. You can only drop your parcel off at an Inpost locker. However, each Inpost station only contains 42 lockers so we would recommend processing no more than 20 orders a day unless you are comfortable dropping your parcels off at multiple locker locations.

InPost is rubbish. Don't bother with them. Of the last 6 parcels I sent with them , they've all got lost. Either drivers failing to pick up from the lockers or just getting lost. If you do use them, make sure you use the insurance as you will need it. The service is even worse now that they're using UK Mail vans...it was just about passable when they used City Link, but of course, they went out of business last Christmas. If you're an eBayer, avoid InPost like the plague as you'll just get annoyed buyers who haven't got their parcels.
Hermes is OK actually, with the usual caveat that there's no insurance...I'd say 1% of mine goes missing and that's enough to cover the (very expensive insurance). Anything over £70 and I just use UPS.

Anyone used these before I normally use Hermes or post office but I'm having to open a case with Hermes seem to have lost two parcels so it's a pain in the **** now want proof of anything before refunding me the cost of the items as luckily I insured them a total waste of time won't use Hermes again

Hermes has been dodgy for many years. I used Inpost before. They have got a digital locker in the city centre area of my town. You just take your parcel there, scan it yourself and one of the lockers opens and you drop it in and close it and that's all.

You are not getting like for like with the post office - please understand this and the risks. The service is all down to the individual in your area as all the people you interact with are self employed.
These low cost delivery companies are "fine" when they work, however what happens when your recipient is not in? There`s no sorting office to leave the parcel, the drivers are not mandated to leave sorry you were out cards, and trying to claim anything via their compensation on damage is impossible (apparently a double wall box, filled with void filling was insifficient packaging).
What if your destination address has a house name rather than number? Well you parcel will be returned to you as the driver cannot find the address.
The latest problem are drivers signing their package off as "Delivered" when waiting for the customer at communal doors. When they do not get in your package shows as "delivered" yet its still on the van. Try getting your ebay buyer protection then.
And be very careful with parcel2go as their cheapest 1kg delivery with Hermes has zero copensation if lost - direct with hermes is actually cheaper if you want the protection.

lots of people seem to have problems with hermes etc and I guess it is down to the drivers working in your area. I have had loads of parcels and not one has gone missing and they always try to leave in a safe place etc if I'm not home. only the post office has ever lost a parcel of mine. I would be interested to give this company a shot with a small low value parcel first as the prices seem good x

Parcel2go works out more expensive compared to going direct when it comes to cover

seconded....InPost are terrible!
Had 3 parcels arrive smashed to bits....yes they were packed well....they had been stood on and jumped on!....the boxes had footprints all over them.
I use Hermes all the time....never had a problem with them yet and i have send over 200 10-20kg parcels with them

I always use p2g, currently making a claim for a damaged parcel but there isn't much else you can do when royal mail prices are extortionate for anything over small parcel

Be wary, just lost out with parcel2go as the courier left a parcel outside the letterbox in a communal flats and I had no recourse to compensation. Very arrogant attitude in that it was my fault for not purchasing additional insurance. They also state the courier can leave parcels where they deem appropriate!!!!!!!! It's a shame as previously all my parcels were delivered fine but will be avoiding parcel2go for the time being, they must be the first to legalise daylight robbery.
