So I understand this has storage like a normal USB. But am I also able to connect my phone to one end and my computer to the other to make a connection? Is the phone able to access what I store on the USB?

Its not really a substitute for a cable, just means you can move photos etc easier by transferring onto the USB stick, unplugging, then plugging straight into your mobile

Don't buy if you have Sony Z3, the flap gets in the way of connecting the OTG part
