Anyone know if Currys Ireland does a price match on their UK stores as their looking €80 for the same SSD. when UK is £35 (€50)

Pretty sure they're very strict with PM. Usually in the T&Cs it'll say that it must be the same currency at least.

Can you get it from Currys UK through Parcel Motel? You get it delivered to their Co Antrim address and they bring it to your chosen depot in the South, where you collect. I think Parcel Motel charge €3.95.

Showing 42.99 for me also, ordered one at the original price and can confirm it made huge difference to a Dell 1525, running Linux mint.
