Bought this same deal last night, and is already on its way from France via DPD.

Have one of these. Superb phone best i've ever had. Great battery life and you can also swap over spare battery in an emergency. Brilliant clear screen. Brilliant camera , takes better photos than my Panasonic camera. Great functions on phone .Also micro sd card slot for backup memory. would definately recommend.

this phone has serious issues with lag. just recycled mine after 6 months as I had to keep factory resetting it. my Oneplus One is smoother.

tl;dr... get the G4.

Phone is brilliant. Software, i.e touchwiz is not. I would personally get a g4 instead. Better processor, better camera,real leather back, updates should be better(think g4 is already getting marshmallow).

​Totally agree. Better all round phablet, had mine for a year now without any issues. Currently on android 5.1.1 and recieved a stability update a few days ago. Also confirmed to get Marshmallow.

compared it side by side with my cousins G4. Most obvious difference is better screen, especially at awkward viewing angles. Build quality also better.

I've just been reading about GPS issues, has anybody else encountered this?

When looking at this deal in amazon, the language isn't in English (and of course in Italian). Therefore, can anyone here confirm what accessories this phone has, and whether the warranty (normally 24 months) is covered in UK?

Never experienced any of these issues people on here are posting about and I've had mine since day 1. The 5.1.1 update made it even better. No lags, excellent battery life (6 hours on screen time with the new update) plus display is great. No pink tint like the nexus 6 suffered.

437.55 EUR = 309.032 GBP - where is this conversion rate taken from and do all UK credit cards use the same source? I'm trying to work out if it's cheaper to use my credit card which charges 3% foreign transaction fee or use Amazon's conversion.

Anyone on the fence go for it! I'm actually considering buying another incase mine packs up! lol! don't look at this in the same category as the Nexus 6P, G4, 6Plus (all great phones by the way I am not slating them) but this is more of a mobile computer, phone and productivity device all in one.

Should I buy now ot wait for Black Friday...

Decisions decisions

There's a possible further angle to this. Every time I've placed an order for this with Amazon Italy there's been a shipping delay of a few days. Every order has been cancelled (by me) as a result, and replaced with another order at a lower price.

At this rate, by the time one of these orders reaches the shipping (and uncancellable) point it'll be Black Friday and I'll be able to choose which to go for. :wink:

would we be covered with the 2 year warranty? and would we have to send it back to Italy for this?

Would I need to create a new Italian amazon account? Or log in with my UK amazon account?

I've broken........ £310 with a clarity credit card to good an offer.

Very strange mine shipped from France, even though i ordered from Italy lol.

I gave in and ordered it, no charge on my nationwide credit card, before I placed the order it said delivery between 16th and 24th November but when I confirmed it, it said expected delivery 30th!!

Tempted to pick this up but I'm after a gold one and there is a huge price difference!

Delivery had now been changed for the 23rd!

You can cancel easily up to the point that it enters the despatch process - and sometimes (though it's not guaranteed) even during despatch. Once it's gone, it's too late - though you can always refuse delivery. At least you can with Amazon UK - might be best to check that last point with Amazon Italy.

I'd be surprised to see it below £309 too (thanks for posting MuhammadAhmed) - in fact I doubt it will even feature on Black Friday.

You won't regret your choice - it's a stunningly good phone. There's nothing on the market that can touch it - particularly at this price.

I agree, I doubt Amazon will get close to this price if they feature it on Black Friday which is supposed to be the 4th Friday in November!

Ahhh....that one. It's not shipped from the UK, though - they're coming from Italy. The black one's even cheaper if you're OK with it coming from Italy.

It's on the Amazon UK site (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00NNPDDS0) but you may not be interested as it's £366.99. That's about the lowest it's been, though, and I'm working on the basis that although it's dearer than the Italian one, by the time I've factored in a bit of cashback etc the difference will only be around £50. I'll pay that extra on the basis that if there does happen to be a decent Black Friday deal (unlikely, I think) I can either persuade Amazon to drop the price or send the first one back.

What's the warranty if we buy from amazon italy? 1 year or 2 years? Can we return the item once it's dispatched?

They were returns, rather than cancellations. I've cancelled large numbers of items before despatch without any hint of a problem. Cancellations aren't the problem (they never leave the Amazon facility) - returns are the problem, because there's a fraud risk.

Just received my order - it contains a Braun Thermoscan 5 Ear Thermometer !

Packaging looks legit not tamperded with and a Amazon UK returns address - no evidence of it coming from Italy or other European country.

I now face the prospect of chasing Amazon for a refund.

My advice - do not order anything from Amazon Italy.

Not sure whether to cancel the order now! I presume I can before I receive it!

Amazon Italy just responded saying they are going to investigate and get back to me by Nov 20th.

You can get Amazon UK to send them a message - then they respond in English. They seem quite quick to respond and indeed I got the them to refund ‎€6 when the price dropped on the day of despatch. So they seem very helpful but this may be another matter. To put it mildly I was in a state of shock when I opened the package.

Ordered on 9th Nov, Estimated delivery date is 16th, but not yet received. Tracking just says posted from Germany and "In Transit". Bought S6 from Argos yesterday after some dilemma. I asked Amazon to cancel the order as it is delayed. They suggested me to refuse the order when it gets delivered.

Mine arrived yesterday.

Amazon Italy lost my package in transit ! Now in the process of refund. Not sure how long it will take. I will also lose EUR 6 as I asked them to issue partial refund when the price dropped after I bought it. Amazon added EUR 6 as gift card balance on Italy website which they wont refund.

Anybody registered their warranty yet?
