I'm going to hold off until next friday, but its a good deal, and its nice to see other Note lovers out there, I'm using one now, and they are beasts of a phone, I dont know if its deluded brand loyalty or what, but when you have a Note you just know you're getting a lot of phone for your money, shame about the Note 5 though, but If I pick up the 4 I can wait another year for the 6

Why on earth would anyone want one? It's hardly an improvement on Note 4, is it, with no replaceable battery and no SD card slot (unlike Note 4, which has both).

If I buy it now and Amazon drop the price on Black Friday, will they give the price difference back?

Sure they will but if I were you, I will wait as it's been this price for a while.

I've got this phone! It was amazing up until the lollipop update..then it became meh. Battery life was severely affected

Still running a Note 3.
Lollipop didn't affect my battery life. But it has completely ruined Bluetooth. Still waiting for it to be sorted.
Sorely tempted to root the damn thing and go back to kitkat (where BT was rock solid). Being a Note 3, it'll take forever for Samsung to bother to update/fix it. If they ever bother at all .....

Anyone know best and safest way to get the Note 5? Can't believe they didn't release it in this country.

Well, you're obviously not going to find any official resellers.
So online stores that do grey imports or ebay sellers with lots of good feedback I guess.
Having just looked on ebay myself, the prices for Note 5's aren't as high as I'd have expected. Tempted. But no SD slot any more. That's a deal breaker for me. Hmmmm .... Note Edge?

To go back from Lollipop to KitKat? Really?
(long time since I bothered with anything except a stock, official, current, ROM so I'm well out of practice! But Bluetooth is so bad on mine I want to revert now ...)

Good price that. Hot.
Much better phone on Lollipop than Kitkat. Had it since launch and there is a noticeable improvement in performance and battery life.
Shame they have ruined the Note line with the 5!

It's a shame, they're slowly following Apples plan. Removing features and increase different variations for the same iteration of phone. SD Card and battery removal was one of the main reasons I bought samsungs (the note 4 still has these features for anyone looking!) but the newer ones just don't have it.

Made the jump from Note to Nexus 6P. Not looked back. Partner still has the Note phone and is interested in the Note 4. This is a great deal. Prefer the black. Thanks.
