Any owners? Same as/good as similar 1000w extractors like Bullet or Ninja?

I got one of these from Robert dyas for a little more money. Worked great tonight. Can't comment on nutrininja comparison.

think it's great more powerful than the ninja and bullet if you want to pay more for the label up to you but I'm happy with mine and they are a British company too

I bought one a few weeks ago from Robert Dyas. One of the blades has bent already and it has leaked twice - seems you need to screw the blade lid on *really* tightly if you intend to blend in bursts (like the manual suggests), but this is tricky even with man-hands due to its size. I guess it's because the motor spins in the direction that would naturally undo the lid, which seems a bit daft! Small things like raspberry seeds tend to survive their journey in this blender, which is not what I was expecting.
So yeah, not really that impressed with it to be honest, but I still use it every day.

Nutribullet is the best. It's like they honed and honed the design until it was perfect

Noise of 1000W blender must be great

the key is to pulse.... or try covering with a cushion, although it doesn't help. LMAO.
i bought one of these from (my) robert dyas deal. LOVE it. noise isnt too bad at all, and a teatowel underneath it, quietens it even more. no issues with leaking or bent blades or anything. cant recommend enough :-)

I also got one from the Robert Dyas deal and am very pleased with it indeed.
I use it twice a day and find it very quick and easy to use (and clean). Its more than powerful enough and will deal with frozen fruit and nuts in seconds.
So far I have had no problems with mine and it seems solid and well put together. It has a four very good rubber suckers at the base which reduce noise and stop it moving around on the kitchen worktop.
My tips are :
- rinse the blades under the tap straight away otherwise the crud is hard to remove once dried.
- do not overfill any of the containers
- do not use for more than 30 seconds at a time (I doubt you will need to with its power anyway)
- do not use hot liquids / products in it (I heat it up after blending if required)
- screw the base on tight (I've never had any leaks - overfilling and hot liquids are both likely to cause leaks too)
- let the blades stop turning fully before removing the container (you can be tempted to do it in one go - i.e. twist and lift)
