Take care if you not had this before, even if you have. Nearly killed my wife - within seconds of eating it. Ambulance, hospital for over a week.
"Quorn is the brand name of meat substitutes that are made from a vat-grown fungus. Some people have dangerous allergic reactions to the fungus and suffer nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and occasionally hives or difficulty breathing. Some people react the first time they eat Quorn, while some react only after building up a sensitivity. At least two deaths have been linked to Quorn. The parents of an 11-year-old California boy sued the maker of Quorn in March 2015."
A child recently choked to death on a grape too....

I don't doubt there are a tiny number of people who are allergic to quorn - as they are to many products.
Every bad reaction is a tragedy of course but to put it in perspective there's around 100 deaths each year from peanut allergy.

Good deal by the way. £1.50 for a pack that size is great value.

Confusing labelling.....
Meat free chicken pieces...chicken is poultry, should it not be poultry free chicken pieces
Or to be totally correct it should be poultry free chicken 'styled' pieces.

"A child recently choked to death on a grape too".... Not an unexpected allergic reaction!
"....there's around 100 deaths each year from peanut allergy.". Yes, a well advertised and tested for allergy. Most people are unaware of how they could react to quorn. Also, a lot of people get vomiting and diarrhoea after eating and put it down to a 'bug'.
I'm not saying it's not a good price, if you can eat it I'm sure it is. I'm just trying to forewarn people.

CSPI, an organisation that I think has been against mycoprotein since it's release in the US, has collected about 2000 unverified names and accounts of "reactions" in about 10 years so it's hardly reliable.
According to the Food Standards Agency, 1 in 100,000-200,0000 people may have a reaction. Far more people are intolerant to things like soya or allergic to things like wheat, eggs etc. Chances are you are reacting to something else other than mycoprotein e.g. the high fibre, the flavourings used etc. A true allergic reaction to mycoprotein, not simply an intolerance, would be extremely rare.

I was in Asda the other day. An old lady had collapsed in the freezer aisle- Interestingly not too far away from the Vegetarian range (next to Aunt Bessies Yorkshire puddings, just before the Sara Lee Cheescakes). Now, while I can't say emphatically that it the Vegetarian food was responsible, it's pretty clear to me that until it can be proved to be safe, all vegetarian food should be banned. I understand this would leave angry little meat eaters' lives a little emptier, not having Quorn threads to comment on with hilarious cliches about cardboard, cat litter etc. but it's a small price to pay for the safety of mankind.
