I liked the deal on now, large chicken pie, wedges, carrots and 2 deserts ice cream & jam roly poly, also do not know if it national, but just inside the main entrance they had the big freezer normally used for ice creams with packets of coop frozen roast potatoes in goose fat, for 70p bag and also frozen rice 70p and our coop is not used to giving much in offers.

Co-Op Food will have had that feedback on previous deals, so clearly their view is "f 'em, they should be happy enough that the pizza is vegetarian".
Just vote with your feet - the deal isn't that great given that the pizza is on offer at Tesco anyway, allowing you to just build your own bespoke meal deal without having to be restricted to the specific items on the list in order to get the Co-Op "deal" (assuming they even have all the items needed, as dodgymix highlights!)

My local offer alternatives if they sell out, I don't think they are trying to catch you out tbh. Although promotions advertised on shelf edging often don't get applied at the checkout. I had £40+ refunded to me when I noticed my shopping was a lot higher than it should have been consistently. Good job I kept the receipts!
I now a running total in my head and correct them at the checkout before I leave.
