These "limited edition" pigs in blankets crisps are truly incredible. The thread for these last year when they were at their RRP of £1.59 went to 488 degrees, so you know you're onto a winner when they're only a quid!

I saw these and didn't pick them up as I thought they would just be bacon flavour. Would you say they taste better than just bacon?

Definitely. The flavour is difficult to describe, because they don't taste like other bacon or sausage flavour crisps, or even a combination. The first time I tasted them, I didn't know what to expect. Tried one crisp and thought "these are nothing special". Had a second one and thought "ooh right, I see...", by the third crisp I was hooked and the bag was gone in the next few minutes. They are highly addictive!

Have them in Aldi too. Not tasted Tesco ones to compare but they are delicious!

These are not in my local extra store (unless they are hidden in another part of the store) but are in the smaller superstore @£1 which was the case on the 3rd of this month but currently unavailable online. Seasoning is very generous on these!
