This is a great price for a popular series. I wish I'd held out for the collection, I'm now looking at spending nearly this just for the last two!

Buy the collection and donate the unwanted ones to a school or charity shop?

What age group is this series for? I like reading fantasy every now and then (Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Narnia etc) so this has definitely piqued my interest!

Hello,
I have read all those books you have mentioned and enyoyed them. Percy Jackson is probably for 10-14 year olds. But I'm 33 and I like them. They're not hard books to read, but they are good, fun stories.

Same, I'm an adult and I still like to read some 'children' books like this. Another series that is very enjoyable is Ranger's Apprentice. They are the kind of books that a lot of children really enjoy and can't stop reading. Really recommend it!
To be honest I would not compare it to Lord of the Rings, but definitely is similar to Narnia.
